Grand Lodge of the District of Columbia

The Grand Lodge, F. A. A. M., of the District of Columbia is the governing body of Free and Accepted Masons in Washington, DC. -- Freemasonry has been a major part of community life in the United States for over two hundred and fifty (250) years. The Craft is America's largest and oldest fraternity and is predicated on the brotherhood of man under the fatherhood of God. Freemasons seek to promote friendship, morality and brotherly love in our activities. We are bound together by a philosophy of moral standards, mutual understanding, and brotherhood in which all men are on a level and equal.
