A Registered Resident of Berlin

Mark and I dropped by City Hall, Rathaus Mitte, this afternoon to get myself registered, officially, as an alien in Berlin. This is the first step towards becoming a proper legal full-time resident of Germany, which should be pretty easy since I will not be working here, taking German jobs, or anything of that sort. Anyway, back to things. I will try to come here more often and let you know what's going on.

Living a Neu Life in Berlin

Mark and I took the S-Bahn and the U-Bahn over to the offices of my new immigration lawyer, Sabine, to take the first steps towards residency in Berlin. Afterwards, we reclaimed bikes from "Wulf" bike repair and then spent a couple hours at a cafe. I drank coffee and Wiener Schnitzel. Rode the bikes back. I want my single speed SOHO Delancey even more now since this is such a good city for bikes and biking. I have to get back to work now. I just wanted to try to do a better job of checking in.
